David Beckley

Beckley uses long exposures to slowly build photographic images by playing with light and movement. Although most of Beckley’s shoots focus on the banality of everyday things such as brushing your teeth or getting dressed, by using long exposures he is able to introduce a large amount of chance and uncertainty to everyday repetitions, bringing to mind our connection to or lack there of something much bigger than us.
