In this exhibition Li Turner created a series of monotypes in an attempt to capture the essence of our Northwest rainforests. Whether it is a stand of trees on Bainbridge Islandor a rainy Seattle Sunrise. These monotypes attempt to create the essence of the movement, color, and beauty encountered each time one ventures into natural areas, or perhaps just outside ones own door. In a world of e-mails, sound bites, traffic jams, and multi-tasking, this exhibition titled: Under the Influence of Rain seems straightforward, yet the monotypes reveal themselves
