Jay Stoneking
Jay Stoneking is a queer artist and author based in Seattle, Washington. Creation is the physical, ritual magic through which he dreams into the world, each painting reflecting inner journeys captured in gilded portals, gates, and arcane scrolls. His works explore the boundary between art and the occult, drawing inspiration from fantasy and science fiction alongside symbols and forms from modern witchcraft.
Stoneking's creative practice includes traditional and digital mediums, game design, and written works. His paintings have been shown at galleries throughout the Pacific Northwest and his artwork can be found in private collections across the United States and Canada.
His graphic novel, The Unbound Arcana, is a fantasy series experimenting in structure, color, and minimalism. He makes from his studio in Ballard, Seattle.
