Lin-Lin Mao Mollitor
Lin-Lin Mao Mollitor is a Chinese-American artist based in Seattle whose work explores the interconnectedness of living beings and humanity’s relationship with the natural world. Born in Taiwan and raised in the United States, she grew up making with her hands—learning paper folding, knitting, crocheting, and drawing from an early age. Trained in computer science, she developed a digital paint program for her 1985 master’s thesis. After raising two children, she earned an MA in Fine Art in England in 2017. Working across painting, craft, and installation, her practice reflects on empathy, perception, and the nature of existence. She has been a member artist at Gallery 110 in Seattle since May 2024.
