States of Transition: Selected Works by Gallery 110 Artists

January 8-31, 2026

“It is never too late to be what you might have been.” — George Eliot

January takes its name from Janus, the Roman god of beginnings and endings, thresholds and dualities. Depicted with two faces—one turned toward the past and one toward the future—Janus symbolizes the passage between what has been and what lies ahead.

In this spirit, Gallery 110 presents States of Transition, a selection of works by member artists who explore the many forms change can take, from personal metamorphosis to shifting landscapes and evolving identities.
